Stadiums and sports events. Airplanes and airports. Schools and universities. Special events and concerts.
There's a rise in crime in the stadiums where the spirited teams lose control. The alcohol is consumed and temperaments of the fans heighten . Senseless attacks on rival fans or even fans of the same team. According to a recent article I read on Kiro 7 iPad news , in our city of San Francisco , at the 49ers games last Season of 2013 there were 3415 incidents, 23 felony arrests , 201 fights and 631 ejections from the stadium. Fingers, thumbs, heels, ball of the foot, palm of the hand, elbows, knuckles, shin, knees, forehead, hips , shoulder. Can all these body parts be lethal weapons ? If used properly with technique and with speed. Every second counts in a matter of life and death . Vital center targets must get struck to stop an assailant. So yes fist my fist of security or my power kick has the potential to save my life if I was in danger.
Security officers, body guards, police, bouncers, department store agent, CIA , FBI, can carry weapons but still take lessons in self defense, to use their bare hands and strong legs. Weapons can be taken away . And most of all, the number one human weapon is the mind, the quick reactive thought processing of responding to a situation . The mind. The control center.
You're already equipped with weapons of self defense. Where you can be in total control. When taught properly and safely , your hands and feet with quick reactive response can save your life.
